Kindness Warrior Spotlight: Meet Devin Moore – Advocate for Youth Mental Health and Anti-Bullying

This is Be Kind 5’s Be The Change Challenge Month, we’re proud to spotlight Devin Moore, a true Kindness Warrior whose work is transforming lives across the country. At just 14, Devin founded #RaceToSpeakUp, an anti-bullying organization that empowers youth to speak out, support one another, and create inclusive communities.

Devin’s mission is rooted in kindness, courage, and advocacy.

His children’s book, Devin Speaks Up, encourages kids to embrace their differences, talk to trusted adults about bullying, and be upstanders. It’s a powerful tool for teaching empathy and resilience—core values of Be Kind 5.

As the host of Humanity Rising’s Mindful Connections podcast, Devin brings mental health professionals and youth together to explore topics like stress, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness. His relatable style makes these conversations accessible and practical, giving families tools to support emotional well-being.

Devin also leads the Race To Speak Up Podcast and the Behind The Screen Anti-Cyberbullying Curriculum and Webinar, helping students navigate digital spaces with kindness and confidence. His work fosters safer, more compassionate online communities.

A regular speaker at the Race Amity National Conference, Devin facilitates workshops that teach empathy, communication, and inclusivity. His sessions empower students to recognize their role in creating safer schools and to be the change they wish to see.

Devin’s advocacy extends to LGBTQ+ youth, ensuring they have access to safe spaces and resources. His efforts earned him the University of Maryland Pride and Advocacy Award, honoring his commitment to inclusivity and acceptance. Through awareness campaigns and community engagement, Devin uplifts marginalized voices and challenges harmful stereotypes.
