Simple & Just

After taking a SoulFlow Yoga class with my dear friend Jasmine Rashae I strolled Queen Anne to enjoy my post workout bliss. While window shopping I stumbled upon Simple & Just. I was drawn into the store by a rack of cute tops and their window decal professing their commitment to “working together for good”.

The staff was super personable and happy to talk to me about their mission. “After years of working in non-profit services for children, we discovered a need, to effectively support individuals who, through resale of clothing and handmade wares.” I scored an beautiful soft grey macrame wallhanging tied onto a piece of driftwood. At the register the staff member explained that the wallhanging was created by a formally sex trafficked youth in one of their internships.

Next time you are on Queen Anne or looking for some pieces stop by Simple & Just! 100% of their profit goes to provide essential internship opportunities to those whose hearts are beating for an opportunity to gain skills, and change the world.
