Meet Kindness Warrior Arna Verma 💛

At Be Kind 5, we believe kindness comes to life through creativity, courage, and using our gifts to uplift others. Arna Verma embodies that belief in the most inspiring way.

Arna is an 11th‑grade student at Juanita High School and a gifted young creative whose talents span filmmaking, design, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.

This year, we are deeply grateful for Arna’s support of Be Kind 5 and her collaboration on our upcoming illustrated book, No Stinkin Thinkin, releasing later this year. Rooted in positive mindset and self‑kindness, this project has been beautifully elevated by Arna’s thoughtful illustrations and generous heart.

From the moment Arna joined the project, she showed up with intention, empathy, and creativity. Her artwork reflects a deep understanding of the book’s message and reminds us that young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow — they are powerful changemakers today.

Beyond this collaboration, Arna currently serves as Communications Manager for the Teen Arts Council at Expressions Arts, where she independently designs and distributes monthly newsletters that engage youth through storytelling and visual communication.

As a filmmaker, she directed the short film The Dreams We Hold from screenplay through post‑production and served as Assistant Director for Shades of Life, bringing strong leadership to fast‑paced creative environments. She has also supported live productions, designed graphics for art expos, and created community-focused media.

Arna is also an emerging entrepreneur, selling handmade paintings and jewelry at youth business fairs and earning recognition at the Bellevue Children’s Business Fair. She founded the Animation Club at Juanita High School, creating an inclusive space for students to collaborate and grow creatively.

For her sustained service and leadership, Arna has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for three consecutive years. Grounded, disciplined, and compassionate, she leads with integrity and purpose.
