Gratitude

It seems quite challenging to know what the future holds for us while we are waiting out the Covid-19 pandemic. But there is no better time than the present to take stock of the things we are grateful for, the things we really need and sit in awe of the many gifts each day brings. That’s not to say that each day doesn’t also bring challenges, but giving our energy to the good will get us a lot further than pouring our time into the things that are no longer serving us.

While nothings beats getting counseling or having a great coach taking sometime to put our vision down on paper can be a great first step to a new beginning.

“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.”

Goals

Whether you are a go with the flow kind of person or if you have a clear vision you won’t to capture. They key is to just get started. Don’t spend anytime fussing over the how or questioning if you can. This is about setting intentions, dreaming and tapping into your amazingness.

Some things you might include in your vision board:

  1. Your goals, don’t be shy here this is your life after all.

  2. Numbers, like deadlines, dollar amounts or quantities - who doesn’t want 3 puppies or monthly trips to somewhere relaxing?

  3. Colors or images that inspire you.

  4. Names of people you want to share those goals with.Vision Board Supplies:

  • paper or some surface to adhere your creative genius to

  • glue or tape

  • pen, pencil, crayons or markers - whatever you have on hand

  • magazine clippings, photos or heck even your own doodles

  • scissors or your trusty hands to tear paper

  • stickers, jewels, dried flowers or anything else fun to add to your board

How to:

  1. Take the time to setup of your crafting environment, staying hydrated and nourished is just as important to setting the mood for sparking your creativity. Consider lighting that candle that’s been sitting on the mantle for months or making some fun snacks.

  2. Don’t forget the music! Seriously.

  3. Write down your goals. We like doing this in categories such as home, relationships, work, and play, etc or in a timeline like 1 month, 6 months, a year and 10 years.

  4. Add images, color, and objects that help bring your goals to life.
